Sandhills To Host Upcoming Auctioneer Forum September 19th & 20th In Lincoln, Nebraska

LINCOLN, Nebraska — September 7, 2017

Auctioneers serving the construction, agriculture, and transportation industries will convene in Lincoln, Nebraska for a two-day forum hosted by Sandhills Publishing—the trade publisher and tech company behind AuctionTime.com, Machinery Trader, TractorHouse, and Truck Paper. The event, held September 19th and 20th, will welcome auctioneers from the Midwest and across the country, facilitating opportunities for attendees to network, address key market trends and challenges, and gain industry insights. It’s also a chance to learn more about AuctionTime.com and Auction Flex—simple, cost-effective software platforms that are evolving the way buyers and sellers participate in auctions.

A breakdown of AuctionTime.com, Sandhills’ online auction platform, will provide valuable insights into the ins and outs of the resource that hundreds of auctioneers all over the country have successfully leveraged to build lucrative auction businesses. The platform offers built-in advertising (both online and in print on a local, national, and international scale) and simplifies the process of listing equipment, attracting bidders, and selling at auction.

AuctionTime also functions in conjunction with a number of additional products that facilitate equipment sales for both buyers and sellers. Seminars will include information about Express Financing solutions, which simplify the lending process for equipment buyers to help eliminate financing as an obstacle to sales. Forum attendees will also learn about Sandhills’ proprietary asset valuation software—FleetEvaluator—which leverages a massive pool of listing, after sale, and auction results data to enable auctioneers to accurately value specific equipment.

Day two of the forum will be devoted to Auction Flex, the market leader in live auctions with capabilities that include cataloging, clerking, cashiering, accounting, mailing list management, inventory management, multi-parcel, and more. Attendees will learn more about leveraging this simple yet powerful software to streamline live auctions right alongside online auctions.

The combination of round table discussions, seminars, and one-on-one workshops provides auctioneers the ability to network, ask questions, and gain insights from industry leaders. “Auctioneers operate within a unique subset of our core industries,” explains Sandhills’ Chief Administration Officer Nancy Paasch. “A forum devoted specifically to auctioneers provides a focused environment for these businesses to gain insights that ultimately help their operations thrive.” For more information about the upcoming Auctioneer Forum, contact Sandhills directly, or get in touch with your Sandhills sales rep to register.
