LINCOLN, Nebraska — August 14, 2015

Equipment and parts dealers, manufacturers, fleet owners and operators, rental and leasing companies, auction companies, and business professionals across the agriculture, trucking, construction, heavy machinery, and aviation industries will convene next week in Lincoln, Nebraska for Sandhills Publishing's three-day Global Forum. Over 500 industry leaders from 40 states, Canada, and Mexico will participate in workshops, manufacturer- and industry-specific roundtable discussions, and forum-style seminars to gain industry insights, grow valuable business relationships, and leverage their partnerships with Sandhills to improve business operations through simple and cost-effective growth initiatives.

The 2015 Sandhills Global Forum will kick off with a golf tournament on Tuesday morning, and networking reception to follow. Attendees will participate in roundtable discussions and training sessions at the University of Nebraska's Innovation Campus on Wednesday, concluding with an evening reception at Sandhills' 68-acre campus headquarters in north Lincoln. On Thursday, Sandhills will provide additional opportunities for forum attendees to network with industry leaders in an expo exhibit-style format.

Manufacturer-specific workshops and breakout sessions representing names like Bobcat, International Used Trucks Center, and Komatsu present attendees with opportunities to learn and network with professionals in relevant markets. Forum guests will also participate in industry-specific round robin workshops aimed at evaluating market data and trends, growing rental revenue, moving equipment at wholesale, improving inventory lifecycle management, and tracking the reach and results of marketing initiatives using qualitative metrics.

Sandhills will also present its newest products and services, including RentalYard, a new marketplace for rental equipment; NeedAHauler, a new resource for transporting equipment; and Fast Track Iron, a wholesale dealer network. Sandhills is also expected to announce a new technology interface—the Sandhills Cloud. This hosted application simplifies and streamlines Sandhills' industry-specific products and services into a user-friendly, customizable, and mobile platform.
