DESCRIPTION:
The Title and Credit Specialist role will include communicating via phone to DMV’s regarding any escalated/ on hold titles that will not process. They also will handle and process secured title changes and/or lien adds. Other responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, process duplicate title requests, process title releases for termed accounts, and receive mail and distribute to proper teams. They will also reach out to customers to collect insurance documents and force place when necessary. Experience with Vehicle Titles is required.
This role is designed for a candidate who is willing to be a key piece of the funding process at Currency. They will be responsible for reviewing credit of new ETF applications, verifying and approving credit for sellers, and provide assistance with final closing steps. They also may handle various customer service-related issues that may arise. They also will assist customers with their title package inquiries during the process. This will include tracking titled funded transactions, producing title packages for in-house transfer as well as collect title receipts from vendors. The Specialist will check in secured titles via online portal or physical titles in house while verifying title is secured under proper party. Assume other duties as assigned. Pay started at $45,000 a year and up based on experience.
