Title and Insurance Specialist

The Title and Insurance Specialist will assist customers with their title package inquiries during the post funding process. This will include tracking titled funded transactions by verifying if vendor is doing title work or if it will be an in-house transfer. They also will be responsible to produce title packages for in-house transfer as well as collect title receipts from vendors. The Specialist will check in secured titles via online portal or physical titles in house while verifying title is secured under proper party.

This position will include communicating via phone to DMV’s regarding any escalated/ on hold titles that will not process. They also will handle and process secured title changes and/or lien adds. Other responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, process duplicate title requests, process title releases for termed accounts, and receive mail and distribute to proper teams. They will also reach out to customers to collect insurance documents and force place when necessary. Assume other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associates degree with major in business, finance or related field or equivalent experience
• Strong computer skills: spreadsheets and database
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and communicate within a team environment

• Stable and progressive work history

• Detail oriented and analytical skills
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to travel both air and surface – valid driver’s license required
• Able to maintain confidentiality

Essential Duties and Tasks:
• Computer knowledge in word processing, spreadsheets and databases, the Internet and e-mail.
• Ability to travel by air and ground
• Data entry skills
• Ability to communicate well on the phone and in person
• Act as an extension of Currency; be a conduit between Currency Sales team and partner lenders for resolutions/escalations
• Keep SalesForce stages, notes and details updated
• Work closely with sales team to understand borrower and dealer expectations
• Maintain constant communication with Sales team to ensure accurate timelines are understood and relayed amongst all parties (borrower, dealer, Direct Sales)
• Data Entry/Integrity Support
• Update SalesForce lender tabs, EQ tabs, stage and other pertinent information
