Sandhills South Africa is seeking professional, competitive, self-motivated students who are looking to gain experience in sales whilst earning money around their studies. The role would be based in our Johannesburg office working with our MarketBook publication.

Responsibilities of Sales Interns include, but are not limited to:
*Prospect potential customers in the trucking, construction, and agricultural equipment industries and sell advertising and Sandhills hosted cloud-based services
*Calling potential customers by phone to increase sales of print and online advertising
*Continue to service customers after the initial sale and build a long term business relationship to continue to drive results for the customer. It is a necessity that our sales interns are personable and continuously educate the customer on all of the tools available to them through Sandhills
*Assist the full time sales team with sales activities as assigned

Requirements:
*Full, clean Driving Licence
*Currently studying a degree within a commutable distance of Bedfordview
*Ability to work 16+ hours per week (with flexibility during busy University times and exam periods)
*Some experience working in sales or an outbound customer role is preferred
*Fluency in Afrikaans is preferred, but not essential
*Candidates with any experience or background in agriculture, construction or trucking are encourage to apply
