Bilingual International Marketing Trainee (Mexico)
The Trainee will do market research on the industries we serve in Latin America for us to distribute the Marketbook® Latin America publication to both buyers and sellers in these industries. The regions of research include, but is not limited to, Mexico, Guatemala, Chile, Panama, Argentina, Venezuela and Brazil.
This research may include, but is not limited to, buyer trends – where they purchase inventory, what trade shows and auctions they attend and when, distribution options so we can get our publications to the buyers in the most timely and cost effective way available. This includes researching postal carriers, distribution companies and printers. The Marketing Trainee is responsible for acquiring and servicing new and existing contact points and data for bulk distribution of our trade publications and computer consumer magazines. Maintaining and updating distribution information for our publications via domestic and international travel and telephone is required. Travel to industry trades shows to promote our publications and websites is also required. All travel may require overnight and weekend stays.
In the process of handling these responsibilities, Marketing Trainees may assist in the implementation of circulation strategies. Processing of website registrations, entering auction results, and other miscellaneous projects may be assigned.
The Marketing Trainee must work as a team to help assure the success of the publications. Assume other duties as assigned.
