Assistant General Counsel - Contracts
The Assistant General Counsel position will assist in providing general legal services for Sandhills Global, Inc. and affiliated companies covering a wide array of legal matters, with particular focus on contract management. Primary responsibilities will include: Providing legal counsel and advice regarding company contracts, drafting and negotiating contracts, and overseeing the contract administration process. Overseeing outside counsel (located in the U.S. and internationally) who assist with litigation and legal matters related to the company’s U.S. and international operations. The Assistant General Counsel will also be called upon to provide legal support and assistance within the full array of areas handled by the Sandhills’ Legal Department, such as developing corporate policies, assisting with legal projects and initiatives, performing legal research, and advising staff and management regarding employment matters, intellectual property, litigation, corporate governance, real estate, and other legal matters relevant to company operations. Perform such other related duties as may arise from time to time in support of the efforts of the Legal Department and the company. Assume other duties as assigned.
