 Each
year, hundreds of thousands of Sandhill cranes make their
annual journey from winter nesting grounds in Texas to summer
feeding grounds in Canada. Midway through this migration they
make a lengthy stop that rejuvenates them and prepares them
for the rest of their trip. Along the banks of the Platte
River, cutting through the heart of Nebraska, the majestic
cranes find peace and nourishment. |
