PRINTING MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN - PART TIME The Printing Mechanical Technician (part-time) will have a hands-on opportunity to learn all aspects of the Production Department. This includes exposure to press, bindery, and plate output systems as well as maintenance of equipment. Specific duties may include shadowing press and bindery technicians in troubleshooting mechanical problems, as well as electronic troubleshooting including Simens drives and PLC components. The Technician will perform the day to day tasks of printing and binding of the publications as well as the scheduled maintenance of the equipment. Responsibilities will vary day to day. Assume other duties as assigned. Position available in Lincoln, Nebraska. WEB SITE MONITOR The Web Site Monitor will be responsible for overseeing Sandhills Publishing's web sites on weekends, to ensure that they are up and running properly. This includes checking sites every 15 minutes and taking the appropriate action if a problem should occur. This may include rebooting the web server, troubleshooting, or notifying someone that the web server is not responding. Assume other duties as assigned. Part-time Weekend Hours Available: 1st Shift, Saturday and Sunday 10:00 am - 10:00 pm; 2nd Shift, Saturday and Sunday 10:00 pm-10:00 am. Possible full-time hours available during summer months, with additional hours offered during weekdays. Position available in Lincoln, Nebraska.
